When: Friday, March 29th, from 10:30am to 8pm
What: Musky fishing with Matt
Weather: Mostly sunny then cloudy, breezy and not so mild,  variable winds from calm to West at 9mph, N at 7mph and gusting as high as 17, 48 degrees at launch and warmed to 50 but didn't feel like it with the wind
Barometric Pressure: 30.14 and dropped slightly to 30.08
Relative Humidity: 33% at mid-day
Sunrise: 6:47am
Sunset: 7:22pm
Moon: Waning, 2 days after full, Major (underfoot) fom 3:04pm to 5:04pm
Water Conditions: 41 to 44 degrees, partly to moderately stained

No fish, no follows. Fished shallow and deep, tried trolling for a couple hours. Saw one fish break the surface in the NE cove right at dusk and saw a dead herring. Those were the only signs of life.

Wind was annoying but fishable. Trolling was a nice break.

Nice to be out.

Threw lures all day with no bites. Guys fishing bait in the back caught a few pike. Spooked a few in the shallow flats up front that wouldn't look at lure.

When: Sunday, March 10th, from 10am to 6:30pm
What: Musky fishing on my boat with Joe
Weather: Mild, mostly sunny and a little breezy. 41 degrees warmed to 54 degrees. Winds variable to S, SW, SE up to 9mph and gusting higher.
Barometric Pressure: 30.35 and fell to 30.25
Relative Humidity: 38% at mid-day
Sunrise: 7:19am
Sunset: 7:01pm
Moon: Waning, a day before new, Major 12:09pm, Minor 6:06pm
Water Conditions: 39 degrees and mildly stained at OF, 40 degrees and moderately stained at M.

It had been 2 or 3 days since any rain.

No fish, no follows, fished 10-12 ft. and the shallows. Not many good weeds on OF, better weeds in deeper water on M.

Bass guys said they had a small musky trolling a lipless crank in 12 feet of water. Looked like they were near our jigging spot when we heard them hootin' and hollerin'.
