Day 352: Race To The Finish

The scenic Rahway River as it meanders through Cranford.
When: Saturday, April 28th, from 11am to 11:30am
Where: The Rahway River
What: Fishing
Weather: Mostly cloudy, 52 degrees, NW wind at 12mph and gusting to 17mph
Barometric Pressure: 30.22in and slowly falling
Relative Humidity: 28%
Moon: Waxing, a day before the first quarter
Water Conditions: River level was pretty normal, water was partly staine

Although on the whole I enjoy my fishing adventure every day, today it was more of an inconvenience. I have a nice fishing trip planned for tomorrow, and was looking forward to spending the day with Lindsay. We did have something to do in the morning, but I was able to squeeze-in a quick 30 minutes at a stretch of the Rahway near our home.

They stock this section with trout, but nothing was doing. This spot is usually good for at least a small sunfish, but not today. I did see a school of suckers, but they weren't about to go chasing after a Pins Minnow.

That puts an end to a rather dismal week of fishing.

I'm hoping the next one starts off with a bang.

  2. The river looks difficult to sail on. Good luck to all of those who are participating.
