Have you ever had a moment where you said to yourself, "Maybe I shouldn't be here?"
Have you ever had one of those moments while you were on your lunch break.
I had been chomping at the bit to return to the scene of the huge brown trout in hopes of hooking a monster of a different kind. My hopes were high as I tied on a big spinnerbait to a heavy fluorocarbon leader and started making casts towards the shoreline and brush piles around my fishing spots.
Although my first throws didn't produce any strikes, I kept spying more places to put my lure. As I worked these different pieces of structure, I eventually found myself walking up a small dirt trail along the shore, that eventually came out underneath an overpass....
And someone's bedroom apparently.
And their kitchen, and their bathroom.
Luckily, they must have been either at work or food shopping, so I didn't think they'd mind if I took a few tosses from their living room.
No fish today, but always and adventure.
