The new job looks like it's going to present some new challenges for finishing this quest. I'm going to need some time to figure out a routine, but the one thing that's already obvious is that I'm dealing with even less time than I had before. On my first day, I was in the office for nearly 10 hours and had another 90 minutes worth of commuting.
I barely got my fishing in yesterday.
I was fully expecting another long day today and I had no idea when I was going to fish...when opportunity knocked.
I work 2 minutes from the Raritan River and the D & R Canal. And, seeing as I was planning on being in the office for 10 hours and everyone disappeared for lunch, I figured I'd take a short lunch break myself. I now had the time, but it was raining. Luckily, I had a rain jacket in the trunk and to make things sweeter, I was able to fish under the Queen's Bridge and stay completely dry.
No fish today, but honestly, I'm amazed that I'm keeping this streak alive right now.
