The wind was still stirring things up at Lenape Lake today.
When: Sunday, February 26th, from 10:30am to 11pm
Where: Lenape Lake in Westfield
What: Fishing with waxworms
Weather: Partly cloudy, 39 degrees, NW wind at 14mph
Barometric Pressure: 30.34in and steady
Moon: Waxing, 4 days past new
Water Conditions: Murky
Although I try my best to catch a fish every time I got out, I'd be lying if I said that sometimes it wasn't just a technicality. Yeah, I battled the windy, cold conditions at Lenape Lake today and tried my best to entice a panfish with a waxworm, but all I could think about was tomorrow.
Tomorrow is my last day off before starting my new job, and for the 3rd time in seven days...
I'm going musky fishing.
