Day 275: Nine Months Of Fishing

The Rockaway River.
When: Saturday, February 11th, from 1pm to 1:30pm
Where: The Rockaway River via the Jackson Ave. Park in Rockaway, Morris County, New Jersey
What: Fishing
Weather: Overcast, 36 degrees, light snow in the morning, NE wind at 5mph
Barometric Pressure: 29.62in and steady
Moon: Waning, 4 days after full
Water Conditions: River seemed normal, fairly clear

If I'd gotten pregnant when I started this whole thing, I'd be having a baby right now. However, that's obviously not the case, and I still have three more months to get to my goal.

It seems to be going very slow right now.

That being said, I'm doing my best to change scenery whenever possible and to put myself in the best position to catch fish. Lindsay had a dentist appointment in Denville on Saturday, so I offered to take the ride with her and spend some time hanging out in Morris County. After her appointment and a couple wrong turns (ahem, ahem), we were at the Jackson Ave. Park I'd found on the GPS.

I'd brought along both waxworms and nightcrawlers that I had a in the fridge and tried fishing them under a float, off the bottom and on a jighead, but one again...NADA.

In any event, it was a fantastic day. We stopped in Mo-town for lunch on the way back as well as dropping in to say "Hi" to Bob.

90 days to go.
