Day 237: Had To Be Done

Just around the corner.....
When: Wednesday, January 4th (Happy Birthday Linds!), from 5:30pm to 6pm
Where: The canal down the street
What: Fishin'
Weather: Overcast, 26 degrees, SW wind at 14mph
Barometric Pressure: 30.07in and steady
Moon: Waxing, a few days before full
Water Conditions: Cool and clear

Anyone who follows this blog knows that I only pull out the "corner spot" when there is something of extreme importance to be done and I don't have a whole lot of time.

Well, my lady's birthday is of extreme importance.

After work on Wednesday, it was a mad scramble to make a few last-minute arrangements before going out to dinner with Lindsay and Bob. Time was not on my side, so I took the ultra-light and some bread to the canal down the street. Although I've caught plenty of sunfish there in the past, there were none to be found today.

It honestly makes me wonder where the heck they could've gone.

Anyway, that's really about it. It wasn't nearly as cold as it was yesterday, and after 30 minutes I walked home to get ready for the evening.

I think I did well.
