Day 229: Pit Stop

Lindsay snaps a pic as I sail a Husky Jerk into Lake Hopatcong.
When: Tuesday, December 27th, from 12pm to 12:45pm
Where: Lake Hopatcong
What: Fishin'
Weather: Overcast, 41 degrees, SW wind at 5mph
Barometric Pressure: 29.89 and falling
Moon: Waxing, 3 days after full
Water Conditions: Low and partly stained

Fishing plans for the week are still evolving. Originally, I was supposed to be on Greenwood Lake today, but after seeing the weather that passed through, I'm glad I wasn't.

So, since Lindsay was heading to Denville for an appointment, I decided to join her.

We left a bit early so we could get my 30 minutes of fishing in beforehand. I was under the assumption that the rain wasn't going to start until after 4pm, but as soon as we left Hopatcong State Park, it was already coming down.

We gave it our best, casting from the dock and even into the Musconetcong, but it was pretty uneventful.

I'm hoping it's not to late to put together some exciting fishing this week.
