Yet another bass falls to a Tiki-StikWhen: Tuesday, August 9th, from 6pm to 6:30pm
Where: Lake Nomahegan
What: Bass fishing with wacky-rigged Wave Tiki-Sticks
Weather: Post-storm. Clouds gave way to sun. Hot and humid.
Moon: Waxing. 4 days before full.
Water Conditions: Rising and stained.
Last Monday, I had a small bass shake the hook while fishing at Lake Nomahegan. It would be the only fish I had on that day and I went home without landing one. Little did I know at the time that my next seven outings would all produce a fish, and that little guy would have made it eight.
The reason I bring that up is because once again, 8 days later, I lost a small bass at Lake Nomahegan. Much like that fish last Monday, this one would have made 8 in a row as well.
This time I would get another bite though.
And this time I would land the fish.
I have to say that I had gotten excited about the little streak I have going, but after an incredibly hectic, roller-coaster couple of days, it wouldn't have even fazed me if it ended here.
That being said, it did not end here, and I live to fish another day.
Next Up: Going to do my best to make it 9 in a row.
