Turtle.

Barometric Pressure: 29.87

It is now apparent that hurricane Irene is going to slam New Jersey this weekend. This storm may cause severe problems for a whole lot of people, and could put potentially put my 365 Days of Fishing in jeopardy. While I'm still trying to figure out timing and planning for the weekend, I guess I need to get there first.

Thursday was going to bring some storms of its own. Since I had a busy day at work, I got up and went to do my fishing beforehand. This worked out well as it was clear in the morning and the rest of the day brought some weather.

Other than that, it was an uneventful trip.

I got a couple bites, but nothing connected. I did find a bunch of carp at one end of the lake that appeared to be pretty active. I'm thinking about trying for carp again now that water temperatures are beginning to cool.

Other than that, there's not much more to say. The much bigger news is the hurricane barreling towards New Jersey as I write.

Lots of people are making emergency preparations, and while I will make sure that I'm not left in the dark, my bigger conern is......

will this be the end of my 365 Days of Fishing?

We shall see.
